- What is a Tarlov cyst?
- A Tarlov (perineural) cyst is a fluid-filled sac that forms on a nerve root sheath, most often in the sacral spine. Many cause no symptoms at all; a minority produce pain or nerve-related symptoms and are evaluated case by case.
- Do you see patients from outside California?
- Yes. Patients travel from across the country for Tarlov cyst care. If you are travelling, note your home city in the consultation request so the office can plan visit timing around your trip.
- What should I bring to a first consultation?
- Recent imaging (MRI or CT) on disc or through your patient portal, a summary of previous treatments, a current medication list, and your insurance information.
